Many new graduates can't find jobs, and students are worried about their future.

Surveys show that two-thirds of Chinese graduates want to work in the government or state-owned enterprises, rather than the private companies that power China's impressive economic growth.

Governments and state-owned enterprises are thought to be immune from economic depression. Few college students are willing to give up the government's iron rice bowl and go to sea, join a start-up or start their own business.
